THE SHIPPING AND FORWARDING AGENTS` ASSOCIATION OF ZIMBABWE (SFAAZ) is a voluntary association of shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs clearing agents, bonded warehouse operators and in-house clearing importers and exporters. It was founded with a mandate to represent the interests of its member companies. SFAAZ members handle in excess of 95% of the country’s commercial imports and exports

FIATA INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF FREIGHT FORWARDERS ASSOCIATIONS

FIATA (International Federation Of Freight Forwarders Asscoiations) is the world umbrella body of the freight forwarding industry and is based in Switzerland. The diploma is administered by accredited FIATA Association Members worldwide of which the Shipping and Forwading Agents Association of Zlmbabwe (SFAAZ) is one of them . The total duration of the diploma is 12 Months.

Here is a summary of the modules and costs involved

  • Payments can be made all at once or spread over three months.
  • The initial payment upon registration is 60% of the tuition fee plus the CBS registration fee.
  • The remaining amount of the tuition fee is to be paid as follows: 30% in the second month and 10% in the third month.
  • Examination fee and SFAAZ board registration fee is paid at the SFAAZ offices
  • Learning will be on a modular approach (one module at a time).
  • Lectures will be conducted face to face on Saturdays 12:30hrs to 16:30 hrs.
